Our design team hand-sketches all concepts during the early design phases, highlighting key design details, layout and style. The LANSERRING style of sketch is a distinct one. Artfully drawn without rulers the results have a human touch. Zoomed-in details of hinges and material joins capture the attention to detail that is central to the LANSERRING approach.
At LANSERRING we describe our design process as thoughtful, the hand sketch presents this as a tangible output early in the process. Our clients can delve into the visuals, for example, the depths of our custom service. Each handle, drawer and surface is considered as its own design challenge, a touch point that can be made to completely reflect the tastes and rituals of the client and their family.
The hand sketch sets the precedent for the handcrafted nature of the final product. Each kitchen is crafted in our Riegersburg workshops by skilled artisans. Our bespoke joinery is dry-fit to ensure each piece fits seamlessly together creating a beautiful space before it even leaves the workshop.
The following sketches were created for the beautiful kitchen concept Celandine Manor. To begin, a line drawing is composed on an A3 page, giving a sense of scale and the overall design. Materials such as the marble hues and veining are added later to give a more realistic sense of the final space. From this point our clients can be supported in making informed decisions about what palette they would like to move forward with.
